Givenchy Haute Couture Spring 2009

A couple of months ago I read a vogue article that more couture clients like Becca Carson Thrash, Gloria Allred and of course Daphne Guinness are expanding their couture pieces from mostly evening pieces and elaborate gowns to more everyday garments (Daphne is thee FIRST to work her couture pieces into her everyday ensembles). And after looking at Givenchy Haute Couture 09 I thought that many of the looks would be perfect for the couture client who is looking for more everyday pieces especially the first eleven looks. I really am attracted to exit number three, I love the necklace and the blouse with the exaggerated puff shoulder. The rest of the collection was divine, the looks with veils over the models faces was a beautiful touch. And the last three looks of the collection were my favorite.

S.A.G Review

Christina Applegate in Emanuel Ungaro.

Marcia Cross in Carolina Herrera.

Amy Adams in Giambattista Valli and H. Stern jewels.

Evan Rachel Wood in Monique Lhuillier and Sergio Rossi Shoes.

Terri Hatcher in Monique Lhuillier.

So the 2009 Screen Actors Guild awards came and went this past weekend. Really, no one expects real drop dead glamour from the S.A.G's. It's a little awards show in between the Golden Globes and the Oscars. But one still should look presentable. It may not be the BIG O but it is still a major awards ceremony. Those who got it rightare pictured above. Honorable mention goes to Emily Blunt in Pamela Rowland, Kate Winslett in Narcisco Rodriguez(Kate Always gets it right), and January Jones who just did something right for me in Andrew Gn, and Katrina Bowden, whoever she is, in Christian Siriano. There were many fashion losers too. Dana Delany did Prada wrong, Nicolette Sheridan let down Roberto Cavalli(what was with that big ass snake bracelet?), Tina Fey just needs help, and Mickey Rourke looked...like Mickey Rourke. What can I say?

The Arnold

Oh HOw I LOve THee, LEt Me Count All 8900 Ways.

Ok Guys, Now THe SAint is only human and I'm entitled to change my mind atleast 8900 times a year. I know for christmas I said I wanted the BLackberry STorm, well sources tell me that'll never happened because the makers of blackberry recalled it. Now I dont know how true that is but in the mean time I still need A stylish gadget that will look great in that CRoc BAg I wanted, not to mention its not cute pulling out a piece of crap to make a phone call in a GUcci Suit (shout out to Frida, I still think you did your thing in Milan for fashion week). So In search for the next best thing I found this;

BLackberry CUrve 89oo

Let me introduce all my Phone Freaks to the BLackberry CUrve 8900. This phone is the Blackberry Curve revamped, all the same features plus a sleek, smaller frame and wifi. It has GPS, full keyboard, camera and video recording, built in media player, and a whole bunch more crazy gadgets I'll probably never use. Point being, I want it, or should I say "may I have, Pleaseeeeeeee" Plus I'll look so business like. Blackberry has once again found away to steal our money. I'm sure they'll be another one in a few months but intil then humor me.
