Glammy: shoulder

What one word that would describe what was fashionable in 2009. Well let's just go back to where it all started. Look 1 of the Balmain Spring 2009, when Anna Selezneva stepped on the runway and the rest is fashion history. That black high shoulder bejeweled band jacket started a shoulder obsession worldwide. In the year 2009 everyone had a high shoulder look. It was on every celebrity and in every magazine. And for this I'm giving Balmian two glammys. One for starting the hottest trend and the other for having the hottest collection this year.

Upon looking at the first look I shouted to the heavens "YES WANG IS BACK". I am going to be honest I did not really care for Wang's last collection. It was blah at best if you asked me. With Pre fall 2010 I can see that Wang is back to business. Black is Wang's choose color for fall (And with me being in my all black only, having my daily uniform being a black top black skinny jeans and black blazer with silver accessories, this collection really spoke to me.) What I adored from his collection the most was the layering . Putting a skirt or shorts over slim pants then adding a jacket that is cut longer and slimmer and a corset over a shirt . Ladies take note this is how layering your pieces should look.
